The Artist
my name is Désirée, born in Germany, living short-term in cities like Adelaide, Moscow, Dublin, Paris, Hamburg, Munich and NYC over the past 10 years. I finished my B.A. in International Management in 2015 noticing that i am passionate about photography. Accidentally I stumbled after my degree into gastronomy, where i`ve been working the last 6 years in fine dining aside establishing my own photography business. Also did a little excursion into a consulting firm, because I generally don't want to ask the question : "What if..." ;)
I loved the combination of gastronomy and photography.
I truly believe that it is possible to work in several industries at the same time on a professional level. Being a former professional swimmer for 12 years, I learned discipline and persistence and that failures are nothing but an opportunity to learn and to grow personally.
I cannot imagine a life without my camera. I work currently with Leica Q and Leica SL.
I love the beauty of the world and the different personalities. Therefore it is my aim to make people feel comfortable in front of the camera and catch their personalities in one picture.
